The 2019 WWE Hall Of Fame ceremony was soured after a random guy stormed into the ring and attacked Bret Hart.
Multiple people jumped in to protect Bret. That included Travis Browne, Davey Boy Smith Jr, and Dash Wilder. All three of them were able to get some good shots in at the attacker prior to him being escorted away by security.

He is also reportedly facing multiple criminal charges for the attack.
The good news is that Bret appears to be okay. He was able to finish his speech and also made a brief comment on social media after the incident.
