The October 17th RAW featured the return of Goldberg to WWE for the first time in 12 years. WWE played it smart and kept him until the very last segment, keeping viewers for the entire show. The return of Goldberg gave the RAW viewership numbers a huge boost this week.

According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, the October 17th RAW drew 3.130 million viewers. This is a huge increase from last weeks show, that drew 2.758 million viewers.
Here is the hourly breakdown from this weeks RAW:
- Hour 1 – 3.167 million viewers.
- Hour 2 – 3.106 million viewers.
- Hour 3 – 3.118 million viewers.

It is clear that many fans stuck around to see Goldberg make his triumphant return!! This is also proves that even though he is now much older, Goldberg is still a big ratings draw. RAW has not been near the 3 million viewers mark for the past several weeks, so it is great to see them get back there.
The real question is, will viewers continue to tune in now that Goldberg’s return has come and gone? Next week features Brock Lesnar, so we will have to wait and see what happens!
