As noted prior, Paige was injured at WWE’s live event in Uniondale, New York on Wednesday night during the 6-woman tag team match (Paige, Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose vs Sasha Banks, Bayley, and Mickie James).
Mick Foley provided a positive update on Twitter, which was good news. We now have some more details on what happened.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Paige suffered a stinger after being kicked from behind by Sasha Banks. The 6-woman tag team match was declared a no contest. The original plan was for Paige’s team to pick up the win.
Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), says that there was a stretcher brought out for her but she left the ring under her own power. She was able to walk to the back with a little bit of help. Meltzer also says that Paige was at the hotel bar feeling better after the show.
PWinsider has a new update which says that Paige has been pulled from the remainder of WWE live events this upcoming weekend.
