As you have probably heard, there is a movie coming that is based upon Paige’s life called: ‘Fighting With My Family’. The movie will be coming out in 2018 and has some big stars attached to it. This includes Lena Headey (Cersei from Game of Thrones) playing Paige’s mother. Actress Florence Pugh will be playing Paige. Vince Vaughn will also be playing an unknown role in the movie.
The movie is being produced by Dwayne ‘the Rock’ Johnson.
Thanks to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, we have some new details on the film. Their source says the movie needs work but “wasn’t bad”. This is based on an early screening of the film.
The movie will capture Paige’s journey from her early career in England to her move to NXT. It will also feature her Divas Championship win.
According to the report, the acting is strong and the movie features an emotional ending. Still it is described as: “paint-by-numbers and could’ve been pieced together from press releases and IMDB”
For fans of the Rock, he apparently makes a few appearances in the film. This comes from interactions with Paige backstage at WWE events and he reportedly has some good one-liners.
Will be interesting to see what other WWE stars make an appearance. From a quick glance at the IMDB page for the movie, it lists: Sheamus and the Big Show as having roles in the film (as themselves).
