Every year for the Royal Rumble, we typically see an Iron-Man. That is someone who enters the match early and sticks around in the match for a long period of time. They don’t always win, but their time in the ring is usually one of the prime storylines of the Rumble match itself.

With the first-ever Women’s Royal Rumble match coming up soon, I thought that I would predict who will be the Iron-Woman.
The person who I think would be great in the role is Becky Lynch. I think if you had her enter the ring in the first few spots, the crowd would be invested in her from the beginning. She is a fan favorite and gets one of the loudest reactions in the Women’s division.
I think the storyline of Becky staying alive from the beginning could be a lot of fun. If WWE doesn’t want her to win, they could have her eliminated by a heel at the very end for some major heat from the crowd. I think as a babyface character, you won’t find a better candidate than Becky. The storyline of her winning and facing her best friend Charlotte Flair could be fun as well.

The person who I think needs it the most is Bayley. We all know that her 2017 was a disaster and she is in desperate need of a boost. Having Bayley play the underdog role in this match could do wonders for her moving forward. I think WWE has the chance to help out her character in this match by giving fans a reason to care again. I think an impressive Rumble performance could do that. Again, she doesn’t have to win and could be taken out at the very end for some sympathy from the fans. If she has a strong showing in the match, I think it could help her turn the corner.
I also think Asuka is a major candidate for this spot. If WWE really wants to showcase her, they can put her in early and have her dominate the match.
I am going to predict Becky Lynch as my Iron-Woman choice. Would love to hear your thoughts on the topic in the comment section.
