9) WWE Addressed The Scandal… Kind Of
One of the biggest questions of the week was if WWE was going to acknowledge anything to do with Xavier Woods and his recent involvement in the Paige scandal (we will leave it at that).
WWE made a reference to it at the beginning, with Big E asking
“Is there something you want to tell us about Xavier?”
He would go on to say “YES…. Wrestlemania” and blow it off.

A smart move by WWE having them do a backstage segment where they could drown out the chants. Also smart move to poke some fun at the situation instead of having it loom over everyone.
