This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW featured the highly anticipated reveal of Kurt Angle’s secret. WWE has been building to the reveal for the past several weeks. The show also featured a match between Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe where the winner was going to earn themselves a WWE Universal Title match against Brock Lesnar.

How was viewership for this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW (July 17th, 2017)?
According to ShowBuzzDaily.com, RAW this week drew 3.153 million viewers. This is up from last week’s episode that drew 3.009 million viewers.
Here was the hourly breakdown:
- Hour 1 – 3.140 million viewers
- Hour 2 – 3.237 million viewers
- Hour 3 – 3.083 million viewers
It looks like the soap-opera style angle worked for a viewership raise. Will be interesting to see if WWE continues to do storylines like this.
