Report On What Happened Backstage After The Brie Bella-Liv Morgan Incident

The most talked about story from Monday Night RAW this week was what happened between Liv Morgan and Brie Bella. Liv took a couple of kicks to the face from Brie, which knocked her unconscious. Liv was not able to finish the match in what was a scary situation.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com has reported a few interesting backstage notes about the situation.

According to Sapp, Morgan had some issues remembering what happened. She also underwent concussion testing right away.

Sapp says that the referee was told from backstage to keep Morgan out of the match. This didn’t immediately happen though as Morgan stayed in for the triple suplex spot in the corner. It is being said that Morgan was on “auto-pilot” after it happened. She had to be restrained by both Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott outside of the ring to make sure that she stayed out of the match and got some help.

Sapp reports that there doesn’t appear to be any bad blood between Brie Bella and Liv Morgan after the incident. Brie apparently apologized to Liv multiple times backstage after it all went down.

He also says “we’re told that Sarah Logan and Ruby Riott “looked” to be unhappy, as they’re legitimately close friends of Liv Morgan’s”. Take that as you will.

UPDATE: WWE has confirmed that Liv suffered a concussion.

Brie Bella issued a statement on Twitter after the match, saying that her intention was not to hurt Liv.
