Ric Flair Reveals Big Changes Were Made To The Sasha Banks vs Charlotte Match at Hell in a Cell

Ric Flair was recently a guest on Busted Open on SiriusXM Rush Channel 93. During the interview he spoke on a wide variety of topics. One of the highlights was the ‘Nature Boy’ talking about the recent Hell in a Cell match between his daughter Charlotte and Sasha Banks.

Flair on how good the match was between Sasha and Charlotte at Hell in a Cell:

“For Vince to put them in the main event, you know, if I’m there and I’m watching the show, it’s a good thing they were in the main event, because nothing could have followed it” (Source: Busted Open).

Flair reveals that WWE cut two big spots for the match, and teases that one was a moonsault:

“They took two huge spots out of the match, during the match, because they were afraid Sasha was going to get hurt. If the original plan had been, there were two things and I don’t want to say what they were, but you can only imagine. One of them involved a moonsault” (Source: Busted Open).

You can listen to the show on SiriusXM Rush Channel 93, Monday-Wednesday.

Wow. So WWE pulled the plug on two huge spots during the Charlotte and Sasha match. Probably best that they did and neither of them were injured. Fans know that both ladies are willing to put their bodies on the line to entertain the crowd and I don’t doubt that they wanted to do something crazy.

Can you imagine some sort of Moonsault off the cell or something similar? Let us know what you think in the comment section below.

  1. A moonsault off of the Cell would have been impossible without breaking your legs and possibly severely hurting your opponent.
