The main event of Wrestlemania 35 will be Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch vs Charlotte Flair. This will be the first time that a Women’s match has ever main evented Wrestlemania.
Even though Wrestlemania 35 hasn’t happened yet, there are some rumors starting to fly around already about Wrestlemania 36 in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Specifically, about the ladies involved in the RAW Women’s Championship match.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscribe here), the main event at Wrestlemania 35 will set something into motion for next year. Here is a quote:
“The plan is also to come out of this match with a clear direction for next year’s WrestleMania, whether that means Rousey returns for a
singles match withLynch, or Flair vs. Lynch.”
My Take: In my opinion, it should be Becky Lynch pinning Ronda Rousey to win the RAW Women’s Championship. Ronda takes time off after Wrestlemania 35 and doesn’t return until the end of 2019/ early 2020. Ronda returns and reignites her feud with Becky. This sets us up for Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch at Wrestlemania 36. That is the only thing that I can think of right now that would make sense.
