Rumor On Jon Moxley’s Future With NJPW

Jon Moxley took part in the 2019 G1 Climax tournament for New Japan Pro Wrestling. He didn’t win but he put on some great matches and had a solid showing.

We have a rumor to pass your way about Moxley’s future.

According to Sports Illustrated, Moxley is scheduled to work NJPW’s biggest show of the year. Here is an excerpt from the report:

Ibushi is now slated to face Okada at January’s Wrestle Kingdom, which is a card that will include Moxley.

Moxley’s current deal with New Japan is said to run through the Tokyo Dome show on January 4, Sports Illustrated has learned. The third in his trilogy of matches with a budding star in Robinson would make for a compelling bout at New Japan’s biggest show of the year.

The Tokyo Dome show is a reference to Wrestle Kingdom 14. According to this rumor, Moxley will be working that event. That also likely means he will be wrestling at several more NJPW events on the road to that show.
