Kevin Owens has been involved in a feud with Shane McMahon over the past few weeks. This includes cutting some promos about Shane hogging up television time over other Superstars on the roster.
These promos have been very well received by fans so far.
We have a rumor to pass your way about Owens’ recent promo work.
According to Sports Illustrated, Owens is working without a script. Here is an excerpt from their report:
Like Jericho, Owens is also working without a script, Sports Illustrated has learned. He is working off bullet points, but it is a move by WWE that shows tremendous faith in Owens.
My Take: If this is true, it just goes to show you how great some Superstars can be with the handcuffs taken off. If someone has proven to be a good mic worker, give them some creative freedom with what they are saying. I am not saying that everyone needs to be unscripted but a few guys and girls could really benefit from it.
