WWE officially confirmed on Tuesday that NXT will be moving to the USA Network. This will be starting on September 18th and will move the show to 2-hours.
Many fans have been curious about the future of 205 Live after this news broke.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), many people in WWE think 205 Live will be canceled. Here is what he said (h/t to Ringside News for the quote below):
“A lot of people think 205 Live is going to disappear and it probably should because talk about a failed experiment, that’s a failed experiment.
My Take: If I was WWE, I would use the 205 Live roster on NXT. I think that it would make sense to help fill out the 2-hour weekly show. There are also a ton of talented guys that I would hate to see lose their jobs.
