Over the past several weeks, WWE has been running vignettes for AOP’s return. These vignettes feature Akam and Rezar sitting down backstage and warning the WWE roster that they are returning soon to cause destruction.
In an interesting turn of events, AOP did not end up getting selected in the 2019 WWE Draft. As a result, they are technically free agents right now.
We have a rumor to pass your way on the future of AOP in WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, AOP are going to be on RAW moving forward.
It is unclear why RAW did not just select them in the WWE Draft. This could be a hint though that WWE is saving their official return for a surprise moment.
It is also worth noting that they weren’t announced for the upcoming tag team turmoil match at Crown Jewel. Most of WWE’s tag teams are in that match.
