We have some rumors to pass your way about a few potential NXT call-ups that could be coming soon.
These come from Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio (subscribe here), who says that there are two names in particular who have been mentioned a lot as of late.
The first name mentioned by Meltzer was Shayna Baszler.
According to Meltzer, Shayna is “supposed to be geared” for a call-up and has everything that WWE is looking for. That includes her age, look, and aura.
Another name who is being brought up a lot recently is Adam Cole. Cole just won the NXT Championship from Johnny Gargano but is someone who WWE officials have been discussing for a while now.
My Take: Shayna is an obvious one. She seems like a lock for a call-up before the end of the year. As for Adam Cole, I would love to see the Undisputed Era ‘takeover’ the WWE main roster. This could work with Cole still as the NXT Champion. Maybe it could be a hot storyline heading into Summerslam?
