Rumor On WWE’s Backup Plans For NXT Takeover: Tampa Bay & The 2020 Hall Of Fame Ceremony

It is being reported that NXT Takeover: Tampa Bay and the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will not be going down as planned. This comes after the news that Wrestlemania 36 will now be taking place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.

A member of WWE’s French announce team, Pat Laprade, has taken to Twitter to share some new rumors about the plans for the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony and Takeover: Tampa Bay.

Laprade says a rumor floating around is that a special edition of NXT will be airing on April 1st. This special edition of NXT will be a show similar to a Takeover. That would mean some of the matches that have been built up for Takeover: Tampa Bay would be airing on this special episode instead.

As for the 2020 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony, Laprade says a rumor floating around is that the inductions could air on episodes of RAW and Smackdown. That is because WWE is looking for content to fill up their broadcasts. WWE aired full-length matches on the latest epsiodes of RAW and Smackdown.

There is no word yet on if these rumors are true but they are definitely interesting. We will let you know if we hear anything more.
