Rumor Round-Up: How Vince McMahon Feels About The Current WWE Roster, Byron Saxton’s Status, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) Early Match Being Advertised For Survivor Series

The 2019 edition of Survivor Series will be taking place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. The official website of the Allstate arena is advertising a 5-on-5 match for the event.

Here is what the website says:

BRAUN STROWMAN, REY MYSTERIO. THE MIZ, RICOCHET & DREW MCINTYRE

VS.

ROMAN REIGNS, FINN BALOR KEVIN OWENS, DANIEL BRYAN & ALEISTER BLACK

The card is subject to change as always but it is interesting to see what is being advertised in advance.

4) Rumor On WWE’s Booking Decisions At Hell In A Cell

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided a theory on WWE’s booking decisions at Hell in a Cell.

Meltzer says that the show was booked as it was for a reason. The plan was to put the (main) belts in WWE on the top Superstars in the company heading into the WWE Draft.

Here is what he said:

“The whole idea of this is they wanted to go into this Draft with Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch as the cornerstones. They’re the big stars.”

It does make sense from a branding standpoint to want your biggest stars with the Titles. Still, hard to excuse what happened between Seth Rollins and Bray Wyatt. If Seth was always going to retain, why did they even book the match in the first place?
