5) Rumor On Why Ric Flair Is Being Used At Crown Jewel
Ric Flair was announced for the upcoming Crown Jewel PPV in Saudi Arabia. Team Ric Flair will be facing off against Team Hulk Hogan at the event.
According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE is giving Flair a big payday due to the recent issues with him and ‘The Man’ trademark. Here is what he Tweeted:
4) Brock Lesnar’s Brand After The WWE Draft
The rumor going around is that Brock Lesnar will officially be moving over to Smackdown in the WWE Draft. This is because he is challenging for the WWE Title on the Smackdown debut on FOX.
A rumor (via Cageside Seats) suggests that Brock to Smackdown isn’t a complete lock. They could just be using him to draw ratings on this debut episode:
Brock Lesnar to SmackDown isn’t a done deal, per the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. His being booked on the show might just be to pop a number on Fox and help move tickets for TV tapings given weak advance sales.
This would actually make sense as Brock just started a feud with Rey Mysterio, who is on the RAW roster. My theory is that Rey will cost Brock his WWE Title match. That means we would get a Mysterio and Lesnar feud on RAW. Could make a lot of sense.
