Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Backstage Note On The NXT Releases (Part 1)
WWE released several NXT superstars and talents on Wednesday. That included names like Alexander Wolfe, Jessamyn Duke, and Drake Wuertz.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, the released talent were told by WWE that these were due to budget cuts.
We are told those released are being told it is due to budget cuts.
My Take:
- Seems like a nice way of saying we don’t see anything in you anymore. WWE has enough money that budget cuts seems like a bad excuse.
4) Backstage Note On The NXT Releases (Part 2)
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE originally decided to release the superstars and talent from NXT a few weeks ago. They ended up waiting a few weeks before making it official.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
We are also told the initial plan was for cuts to come about three weeks ago but the decision was made to wait. Cuts began to be made about 11 AM this morning.
My Take:
- I am curious as to why they waited. Interested to find out more about this in upcoming weeks.
