Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Aleister Black’s Absence From WWE TV
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Aleister Black is currently dealing with some minor injuries. This is the reason for his current absence from WWE television.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“Aleister Black has got some minor injuries and stuff.”
My Take:
- My guess is that Black will be leaving WWE when his contract expires. This comes after his wife, Zelina Vega, was released several months ago. I don’t see him sticking around long-term.
4) WWE Pre-Taping Episodes Prior To Wrestlemania 37
According to POST Wrestling, WWE will be taping the episodes of RAW and Smackdown prior to Wrestlemania 37 in advance.
Here is what the site wrote:
As a result of the timing of their departure, the go-home editions of Raw and Friday Night SmackDown leading into WrestleMania will be taped before they leave Tropicana Field, according to multiple sources.
The taped edition of Raw will air on Monday, April 5th and the taped episode of Friday Night SmackDown will air Friday, April 9th.
My Take:
- This makes sense as a way to keep the talent rested prior to Wrestlemania 37. It also makes sense since they have to get out of Tropicana Field with baseball season starting up. This makes sense on both fronts.
