Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Ric Flair’s Future
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is planning to use Ric Flair as a regular character on RAW moving forward.
Here is what Meltzer said about Ric’s future (h/t to Wrestletalk):
“Yes (he is a regular on TV now), by the way. Whenever they bring Ric Flair back, the first week always does well. That doesn’t mean you bring him back every freaking week. It’s not gonna happen that way. But damn they’re doing it, yeah, he’s doing something with Lacey Evans.”
My Take:
- Ric is great but I don’t think he needs to be taking up weekly television time over a newer talent. I love the guy but I don’t need to see him every single week.
4) WWE Looking To Do More Romance Angles?
On a recent episode of his podcast, Jim Ross noted that he has heard rumors that WWE is looking to do more romance angles on television.
This might help explain the current storyline going on right now involving Lacey Evans and Ric Flair.
My Take:
- I don’t mind them doing more of these storylines. It depends on the writing, which is always a question mark. It also depends on if the storyline will help the Superstar involved (or hurt them).
