3) Possible WWE Hall Of Fame Induction
According to Dave Meltzer on the Sunday Night’s Main Event Podcast, WWE is considering inducting The Steiner Brothers into the WWE Hall of Fame this year.
Here is what Meltzer said:
“I’ve heard Rick Steiner or The Steiner Brothers, depending on Scott. I think if Scott is not willing, they’ll go with Rick. But they want The Steiner Brothers so that’s a name that’s floating around. Sid is the other name that’s floating around.”
My Take:
- The Undertaker and The Steiner Brothers would make for an awesome class.
2) Backstage Note On Vince McMahon At Wrestlemania 38
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has discussed turning Austin Theory vs Pat McAfee into a handicap match that also involves Vince McMahon. That would be Vince and Theory vs McAfee.
This doesn’t appear to be happening anymore but the idea has been discussed by WWE:
“What appears to be the idea is that there will be an angle to get McMahon into the match, likely overseeing the match and being at ringside rather than it being a handicap match, although that has been talked of as well.”
My Take:
- I see Vince being at ringside for the match but I don’t think that he will wrestle. We will have to wait and see though as Vince is one crazy dude.
