1) NXT Superstar Asks For Release
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (Subscribe here), Roderick Strong has asked for his release from WWE. Strong has apparently asked multiple times and his request has been denied.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Roderick Strong has asked for his WWE release “multiple times” over the last several months. We’re told that Strong has grown frustrated with many things over the past year within the company and had requested his release, which has been denied by WWE.
My Take:
- Not a shock as I could see Strong jumping to AEW right away. Interesting that WWE won’t release him though.
