1) Backstage Note On Roman Reigns (Part 2)
After Wrestlemania 38, there was some speculation that Roman Reigns might be injured. That is because it felt to many fans that his match against Brock Lesnar had a weird ending. Fans felt like an injury might have caused it to end early.
Dave Meltzer was recently on the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast. During this, he noted that Reigns is NOT injured and the match ended how it was supposed to. Here is what Meltzer said:
“That’s not even true. That was the match. That was the match that was laid out. That’s the nature of the way they put Lesnar matches together which is boom boom boom, big move big move…it was not a bad match by any means. It was a Brock Lesnar match, no different from many others.”
My Take:
- Props to Reigns on his sell-job if this is true. He had me convinced that he was injured.
