5) Why WWE Changed Their Set Designs
Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Podcast recently spoke with a member of the WWE production team. During this, he found out why WWE made the change over to LCD screens for their set designs.
Here is what Zarian Tweeted:
A while ago I asked someone in WWE production why the sets are all LCD screens.
He said this is a by-product of the HD Television for WWE.
These sets take a real beating with the travel and end up looking like crap quickly.
It’s much easier to maintain LCD Panels
My Take:
- This is an interesting tidbit and makes sense. WWE always seems to do a great job with their set designs and I am really looking forward to what they come up with for the return to live shows.
4) Roderick Strong’s Future (Part 1)
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), Roderick Strong is expected to receive a big push over the next few months.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
We’ve been told Roderick Strong figures big into NXT’s 2021 plans, especially their efforts to add marquee value to the Cruiserweight Title.

- I have always been a fan of Strong, so this is great news.
