1) Backstage Reaction To Vince’s Visit To The WWE Performance Center
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Vince McMahon’s visit to the WWE Performance Center went well. It was said to be a positive day and was even called a “breath of fresh air”.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Vince McMahon, WWE President Nick Khan, Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis were all at the WWE Performance Center today, meeting with the staff and observing the training at the facility.
For all the concern and worry among those there that McMahon visiting was the precursor to some sort of bloodletting at the facility, nothing of the sort happened.
We are told it was very much a positive day with one person who was in attendance describing it as a “breath of fresh air” vs. the worry that some were feeling about today.
My Take:
- My guess is that Vince and his team were doing scouting for some main roster call-ups. The Draft is coming soon, so this would make sense.
