Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Wrestlemania Match Goes Over Time
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, the Women’s Tag Team Title match on night 2 of Wrestlemania 37 went longer than it was originally planned for.
The match was originally scheduled for 12 minutes, including entrances. It ended up going over 14 minutes.
We’re told that originally the tag team title match was set for 12 minutes with entrances and went over time
My Take:
- This is not a big deal since the show wasn’t 7 hours long. The extra two minutes was fine and likely didn’t take time away from any other match. If it was a typical one-night Wrestlemania, this could have hurt another match for time.
4) Wade Barrett’s Future
Wade Barrett was recently a guest on the After the Bell podcast. During this, Barrett teased that we could see him back in the ring for one more match with WWE.
Here is what he said:
“Hey, I’m all about the big paydays Mr. Joseph. It will not take much to remove me from the seat next to you and get back in the ring. I will say, very much enjoying my job with NXT but I have always made sure there’s at least a little bit left in the tank.”
My Take:
- I would LOVE to see another Barrett match in WWE. I was always a big fan of his and his ‘Bad News’ character.
