1) Becky Lynch Return Note
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Becky Lynch wasn’t brought back for Wrestlemania 37 because WWE wanted her to sign a new contract first. It was also noted that her new contract is now in effect.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
Lynch wasn’t used at WrestleMania despite the talks and a tease from Her because WWE was waiting for her to sign a new contract which is now in effect and because they decided against a one-off appearance if she wasn’t ready to be back wrestling.
My Take:
- Honestly, I think it makes a ton of sense to save her return for when live crowds return. Fans will go absolutely crazy to see her back and it will be a great moment.
