Rumor Roundup: Big Feud Planned For Braun Strowman, Canceled Plans For Hell In A Cell, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) More Changes Coming To Aleister Black’s Entrance

During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Aleister Black spoke about his new theme song. Aleister teased that the presentation of his new entrance is not complete yet and it will be improving over the next little while.

Here is what he said:

“The entrance is not done yet. Everything you miss about the old entrance, there will be substitutes for them. It will come, but it’s going to take a second to get everything ready. Us pulling the trigger on the new music—could we have waited? Possibly, but we didn’t, so we got there the way we got there. But we’re not finished. The presentation of the new entrance is not done yet.”

My Take:

  • I definitely miss his old entrance, where he would be stood up by that machine. That was badass and I hope WWE brings back some elements from that to his new one.

4) The Scrapped Plans For Hell In A Cell

According to a report from WrestlingNews.co, WWE was originally planning a match between The Fiend and Roman Reigns for Hell in a Cell.

These plans were ultimately scrapped after the success of the Jey Uso and Roman Reigns feud. Here is what the site wrote:

Last month, Wyatt introduced the Wobbly Walrus character that was supposed to be a jab at Paul Heyman and we were told that the plan was for The Fiend to challenge for the Universal Championship at the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. There has been no sign of the Wobbly Walrus character since the character debuted on 9/11 and now that Wyatt and Reigns are on opposite brands, the plans for their feud have been scrapped.

My Take:

  • The Fiend vs Roman Reigns would have been a solid Hell in a Cell match. While saying that, I definitely prefer Roman’s current storyline with Jey Uso. It seems like it worked out for the best.
