3) Another Big Royal Rumble Surprise?
According to @Wrestlevotes, WWE is open to a surprise entrant in the men’s Royal Rumble match from another company. This comes after Mickie James was announced for the Women’s Royal Rumble match, when she works for IMPACT Wrestling.
Here is what the account Tweeted:
Had more than 1 source this weekend, w/o me directly asking, state they believe WWE will try for an “unexpected” forbidden door entrant for the Men’s Royal Rumble. Personally I’m skeptical it happens, but I can confirm WWE is at least open to the idea. Which is exciting enough.
My Take:
- I am skeptical this will happen. We will have to wait and see though. Could be interesting.
2) Possible NXT Call-Ups?
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne were backstage at this week’s episode of RAW.

My Take:
- Dunne and Ciampa have been backstage at main roster shows for a few weeks now. Seems like they might be candidates for upcoming NXT call-ups.
