5) Update On The Rumors Of Shinsuke Nakamura Attending AEW Dynamite
There was a rumor this week that Shinsuke Nakamura was backstage at the latest episode of AEW Dynamite. This came after a photo was posted of Nakamura and Yuji Nagata.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, these rumors are false and Nakamura was not at Dynamite.
In regard to rumors that he was backstage at AEW this week, WWE’s Shinsuke Nakamura was not at Dynamite. Photos of him visiting with New Japan’s Yuji Nagata have floated around, leading to some assuming they were taken at AEW. That was not the case.
My Take:
- Glad that we could clear this up. Saw too many “Nakamursa to AEW” comments this week.
4) Fans Returning For Extreme Rules?
The Mat Men Podcast is teasing that fans could be returning to WWE on May 16th, 18th, and 19th.
These dates would line up for the Extreme Rules PPV, which is rumored for May 18th. The 16th would be the episode of Smackdown prior and the 19th would be the episode of RAW afterward.
My Take:
- Would be great to have fans back as soon as possible. You can’t beat the emotion and noise from a live audience at a WWE show. The ThunderDome has been a great solution but I think we all miss fans being able to be there in person.
