Rumor Roundup: Bron Breaker’s WWE Future, The Plans For Edge, More

3) Update On Triple H

In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Triple H. This comes after he had a recent cardiac event.

Here is what Meltzer wrote:

Everything remains quiet regarding Paul Levesque. We are told that he’s in good enough shape that he is taking calls. Talent was told that they can call him and wish him well but that they are not to talk any WWE business with him.

My Take:

  • Happy to hear some good news and that he is getting better.

2) Backstage Note On NXT 2.0

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Shawn Michaels ran this week’s episode of NXT in the absence of Triple H.

Here is what Meltzer said:

So Shawn Michaels was the guy running the show, because Triple H, obviously, still is not back, probably won’t be back for a while. So, Shawn was running it.

My Take:

  • Shawn seems like a great choice if Triple H isn’t around.
