Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Backstage Heat On Mustafa Ali?
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here), there was someone backstage who was upset that Mustafa Ali mentioned piped-in crowd noise during a recent promo.
Here is what Sapp said:
“I had heard that there was someone who took exception to him making light that they pipe in stuff… I asked about this, I was like, ‘What would anyone be mad at?’ And they’re like, ‘Well he said that they piped in noise.’ I said, ‘They do!’ And this person said, ‘Yeah, but we don’t want them going out there and saying that.’ I’m like, ‘Why not? It’s obvious. It’s okay. Baseball does it. Football does it. Basketball does it. Don’t treat us like we’re stupid.’”
My Take:
- This seems like a silly thing for WWE to be mad at Mustafa Ali for.
4) Change Made To The Elimination Chamber PPV
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE has made a change to the 2021 Elimination Chamber PPV.
It will now be taking place on February 21st, instead of February 28th:
The 2021 WWE Elimination Chamber is currently slated to be held on Sunday 2/21, a week earlier than originally planned.
My Take:
- The Elimination Chamber is always one of my favorite PPV events of the year. I am excited to see who ends up in the Chamber matches this year.
