Rumor Roundup: Charlotte Flair’s Future, WWE Scraps Storyline, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Scraps Storyline

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has scrapped their plans to turn MVP’s stable into a new version of the Nation of Domination.

That is why Mark Henry and Ron Simmons were randomly on RAW as of late because they were originally planned for the rebooted Nation storyline. After it was scrapped, they decided to just put them on TV, with no reason behind it:

“The deal with Mark Henry was – Mark Henry and Ron Simmons were brought in for these tapings for the Nation of Domination angle that they scrapped. So I guess they just figured since Mark Henry is there, they just put him on TV for no reason.”

My Take:

  • I am fine with them not trying to recreate the past. Let MVP’s faction be something new and see what they can do.

4) Vince’s Concern About Aleister Black

According to a report from Alex McCarthy of talkSport, Vince is a “huge fan” of Aleister Black as a performer. While saying that, he does have one concern.

Vince feels like Aleister’s gimmick will limit him. Here is what McCarthy wrote:

“Vince is a huge fan of the performer – and of Tommy. Size. Agility. Skill. But he is worried the character is a gimmick and will limit him.”

My Take:

  • I definitely like to see that Vince is a big fan of Aleister. If they have to tweak a few things about his character, that is fine by me. As long as they give him a chance.
