Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Injury At Wrestlemania 38
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Rick Boogs suffered a torn quad during Wrestlemania 38. He is getting surgery very soon.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
As noted earlier, Rick Boogs unfortunately tore his quadriceps during the opening match of Wrestlemania 38.
PWInsider.com is told that WWE is sending Boogs immediately to Birmingham, Alabama tomorrow, where he is expected to undergo surgery.
Depending on the severity of the tear, it will take months to recover after the surgery.
My Take:
- Feel bad for Boogs. He was doing some good work with Shinsuke Nakamura.
4) Rumor Killer On Ronda Rousey
There was a rumor floating around that suggested Ronda Rousey was upset when she learned her match against Charlotte Flair wouldn’t be the main event of Wrestlemania 38. The report suggested that she stormed out and left the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony early after learning the news.
Ronda has refuted these claims and she called them out on Twitter. Here is what she Tweeted;
I don’t know where these “reports” come from but it was an absolute honor to perform under Steve Austin at Wrestlemania in Texas-I wasn’t a hall of fame because I have a six month old baby I had to put to sleep early. People are literally creating drama out of thin air
My Take:
- When I first saw it, I did think it was exaggerated. Maybe she was initially a little bit upset but I doubt she would walk out over something like that.
