Rumor Roundup: Daniel Bryan’s Future After Wrestlemania, Vince Doesn’t See Anything In 2 Superstars, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Banning Superstars From Saying “Coronavirus”

According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE Superstars and announcers are banned from saying “Coronavirus” on episodes of RAW and Smackdown.

Here is what he said:

Well, the show opened up with Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton and Jerry Lawler opening up the show. Coronavirus, COViD-19, banned term. It’s simply referred to as prevailing circumstances. That’s how they termed it throughout the show.

My Take:

  • I get it because WWE is trying to provide entertainment to help distract fans from what is happening in real life.

4) Vince McMahon Doesn’t See Anything In Two WWE Superstars

If you have ever wondered why Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel don’t receive much television time, Arn Anderson provided the answer on a recent episode of his podcast.

According to Arn, Vince McMahon just doesn’t see anything in Bo or Curtis. Here is what Arn said:

“He just didn’t see anything in them. Those guys are tremendous performers and I got to see them on the road every night with different opponents, and having twelve, fourteen, fifteen minutes to go out and tell a story.”

“It only exists in his [McMahon’s] mind and he’s the boss. He makes the decisions. That’s it. When he looks at that room of creative guys, his creative team, and says, ‘Okay, I don’t like that performer or that team,’ then that’s it. That’s the kiss of death. It’s done. Boom. Over.”

My Take:

  • This seems to be the case for a lot of Superstars. If Vince doesn’t see anything in you, it is extremely hard to rise to the top. Axel and Dallas are both talented guys, so it is a shame that we don’t get to see more from them.
