Rumor Roundup: Ideas WWE Considered When The Pandemic Started, WWE Bringing Back Old Show? More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Bringing Back Old Show?

WWE recently filed for the trademark for ‘Saturday Night’s Main Event’. This trademark is for “Entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling.” WWE also applied for toys, clothing, and more using this trademark.

This has led to speculation that WWE is considering bringing back the Saturday Night’s Main Event brand. This was a show that aired infrequently from 1986 to 1992 on NBC. It was also revived from 2006 to 2008.

My Take:

  • It will be interesting to see if WWE does bring this back. I don’t know how it will turn out but I recently watched all of the old episodes and found myself really enjoying it.

4) Details On WWE Moving Shows To The Amway Center

According to reporter Jon Alba, WWE has an agreement with the Amway Center in Orlando until October.

A part of this agreement is that there will be no fans in attendance for these shows. Here is what Alba Tweeted:

My Take:

  • I think that this was a good decision by WWE. The Performance Center shows were getting a bit stale and it will be interesting to see something new.
