3) Backstage Reaction To Becky Lynch’s Return
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscribe here), Becky Lynch was said to be looking great when she was back practicing at the WWE Performance Center recently. It was noted that several women from the WWE main roster are hoping Becky coming back means that the booking of the women’s division will improve.
Here is what Sapp wrote:
Fightful was told by numerous people at the Performance Center that Becky looked “jacked” and “like she never left”, but nobody saw her doing any training. Instead she was said to have taken in some of the PC Live matches that have been going on this week.
WWE have been hopeful at multiple points this year for a return or appearances from Becky Lynch. Several women on the main roster have noted to Fightful they hoped Lynch returns as it means the booking will likely improve.”
My Take:
- That is a sad reaction backstage that the locker room is hoping for betting booking. Let’s hope that they get it.
2) Summerslam To Be An “All Hands On Deck” Show
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Summerslam is considered to be an “all hands on deck” show for WWE.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
With Summerslam coming up, as we’ve mentioned, it’s being considered an “all hands on deck” show and certainly Lynch’s return would be a great attraction for the show on a year where it may be considered even bigger than WrestleMania due to the timing of the country opening up as we get to what is hopefully the latter end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
My Take:
- I am excited. I feel like WWE will have some surprises up their sleeves for Summerslam and it will be good.
