3) Big Backstage Departure In WWE
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Canyon Ceman has been let go by WWE. Canyon served as the Vice President of Talent Development for WWE for several years.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
Canyon Ceman, the Senior Vice President of Talent Development of WWE, was let go today by World Wrestling Entertainment, PWInsider.com has confirmed.
The departure comes several weeks after rumors Ceman had been let go, which turned out to be incorrect at the time.
My Take:
- This is a pretty big firing from a backstage perspective. Interested to see who ends up taking his place.
2) Daniel Bryan’s Future
On the Keepin’ It 100 podcast, Konnan said that he asked Tony Khan straight up if AEW has signed Daniel Bryan. This is because Konnan wanted to use Bryan in AAA.
Konnan says that Khan played coy and smiled about it, saying that he knows that he couldn’t tell him that.
My Take:
- This is another rumor that suggests Bryan is AEW bound. Would be a massive loss for WWE.
