Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) The Original Plans For Otis’ Cash-In
According to a report from Ringside News, Otis’ Money in the Bank win was originally supposed to lead to him feuding with The Fiend.
There was also going to be some sort of big angle with Otis’ tag team partner, Tucker. Here is what the site wrote:
Otis’ Money In The Bank win was supposed to “set him up down the line for The Fiend.” Bray Wyatt has since been transitioned into a multi-match program with Braun Strowman.
Regarding Tucker, we were told that his entry into the situation was supposed to build toward a “big angle” down the line. A lot of things were in play at the time, but it’s unknown what has changed. Vince McMahon’s constant call for re-writes and changing his mind makes predicting anything impossible.
My Take:
- Tucker costing Otis his Money in the Bank cash-in (out of jealousy) would make sense. I just don’t see Otis winning the WWE Universal Championship anytime soon.
4) The Latest On Velveteen Dream’s Car Accident
It was noted a few days ago that Velveteen Dream was involved in a car accident. Wrestling INC has provided a few more details about what happened.
Here is what the site wrote:
Wrestling Inc. has learned that the accident took place on Friday afternoon at around 4 p.m. Dream apparently failed to stop at a red light when he struck another car. The driver of the other car did sustain some injuries, however the severity is not known.
Dream was given a citation, however will not have to appear in court.
My Take:
- This comes after rumors that Dream is going to be released soon by WWE due to the recent accusations against him.
