Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) What WWE Had Planned For Adam Cole (Part 1)
According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE was planning to use Adam Cole as Keith Lee’s manager on the WWE main roster. Here is what Meltzer said:
“They were going to bring Adam Cole up, and turn Keith Lee heel and make Adam Cole his manager.”
The idea was to be similar to the Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley pairing from a few years ago. Cole would be the mouthy heel, hiding behind the monster (Keith Lee).
My Take:
- This would have been terrible. Cole is someone who can standalone and doesn’t need to be in a manager role.
4) What WWE Had Planned For Adam Cole (Part 2)
On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also said that WWE was planning to change the name of Adam Cole on the WWE main roster.
This would have been for his new pairing with Keith Lee.
My Take:
- This would have been another bad move by WWE. My guess is they didn’t want to confuse him with Michael Cole.
