Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Why WWE Turned Finn Balor Heel
A rumor making the rounds has to do with why WWE sent back Finn Balor to NXT and why they turned him heel.
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, Finn wasn’t a top priority for Vince McMahon, which is why they sent him back to NXT:
Finn Balor, he is better on NXT. He is a smaller guy and he was not a top priority for Vince McMahon when he lost to Bray. Moving him to NXT and having him compete with wrestlers more his size makes him more palatable to be a heel. It’s tougher to do on WWE’s main roster – RAW or SmackDown – where the wrestlers are typically bigger than those on NXT.
My Take:
- I can definitely buy that Finn isn’t a top priority for Vince. Balor provided NXT with some star power though when the show went live. This was a smart decision and I think it worked out for everybody.
4) Fandango Out Long-Term With An Injury
Another tough break for the Fashion Police. Fandango noted that he recently had surgery done on his elbow:
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, Fandango could be out for upwards of a year with the injury.
My Take:
- This sucks as I love both Fandango and Tyler Breeze together. Hopefully, Breeze is able to find his footing as a singles act during the next year as he is talented.
