3) Speculation On Why Nikki Cross’ Name Got Changed
Nikki Cross recently changed her name to “Nikki A.S.H” which stands for “Almost a Superhero”. There is now some fan speculation going around that this change was made because Karrion Kross is heading up to the WWE main roster soon.
Here is what Bryan Alvarez said when asked about it on Wrestling Observer Live:
“That could be part of it. One of the keys is that they’re spelled differently, so I don’t know how militant Vince is going to be about having two Crosses on the main roster when one is spelled one way and another is spelled another way. My guess is that you’re right, because Karrion Kross is doing the tryout matches on main event and then Nikki Cross the same week gets a new name. So, I would not be in the least bit surprised. I’m not reporting that, everybody, but I would not be surprised if that’s why she got her new name.”
My Take:
- This could make sense but I am not sure. I don’t think people would get too confused since Kross and Cross are spelt different.
2) Additional WWE Employees Fired
According to Mike Johnson of PWinsider, more WWE employees were fired this week. Several were let go from WWE Headquarters.
Here is what Johnson wrote:
PWInsider.com has been told there were a few employees let go today from WWE HQ. We are told some were from the marketing department.
My Take:
- As I said before, nobody feels safe right now in the company.
