Rumor Roundup: More WWE Main Roster Call-Ups, Vince McMahon Unhappy, More

Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.

5) WWE Is High On New RAW Star

WWE has officially replaced Becky Lynch from the RAW banner on their website. They have replaced Becky with Angel Garza.

This seems to be a big hint that WWE is really high on Garza. Here is a screenshot of the new banner:

My Take:

  • I know this is a small thing but it really does show me that WWE sees a lot of promise in Garza. He is a talented guy and I am excited to see what his future holds.

4) Vince McMahon Unhappy With Leaks

According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE didn’t want any information getting leaked out about them using NXT Superstars in the crowd on RAW. Colohue says that Vince McMahon is unhappy that the news was leaked in advance. Here is what he said:

The WWE really didn’t want information getting out there that there would be a crowd. Information of RAW and SmackDown tapings have not been getting out since they have moved to the Performance Center. Nobody has been told this is happening, nobody has been told that’s happening, and we haven’t had spoilers or anything like that getting through. WWE were very happy about that but this week a lot of information got out and Vince McMahon was apparently not happy at all.

Colohue also says that WWE will be launching an inquiry for who is leaking information:

There will be inquires because now they can say for certain someone in that NXT talent is giving information to wrestling media. So the information getting out has put a few people under pressure. What does that mean for the crowds? We’ll have to see going forward. I think they will stick with it, NXT talent have been told they would be needed for the future but that said, WWE will look to find out who has been leaking information, if they can’t find out, they may end up pulling the crowd.

My Take:

  • I will agree that WWE has done a pretty good job at containing leaks over the past few months. We haven’t seen many (if any) match results leaked in advance. This includes nothing from Wrestlemania 36 and Money in the Bank, which were both taped in advance.
