5) Brock Lesnar’s Current WWE Status
It is expected that WWE fans won’t be seeing Brock Lesnar until the coronavirus pandemic is over. During WWE’s call with investors, Vince McMahon said: “we no longer have Brock Lesnar, obviously.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider also noted that he doesn’t expect Lesnar back anytime soon, saying: “it would be a waste to use Lesnar in this environment”.
My Take:
- It does seem like a waste to use Brock with no crowd. While saying that, we don’t know how long WWE will have to do empty arena shows. I could see them bringing back Brock to try and pop a rating in a few months but we will have to wait and see.
4) WWE’s Reaction To The Ratings Drop For RAW & Smackdown
According to journalist Tom Colohue, WWE is braced for the ratings drop that RAW and Smackdown have experienced over the past few weeks.

- If you do look at the ratings, the news is completely dominating. When this first started though, I did think that WWE would get a big boost with no other sports on but that just hasn’t happened.
