1) New Words That Are Banned In WWE
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE has updated the list of banned words that Superstars are not allowed to say on television.
Here is what Meltzer wrote:
“Blood, choke, belt, strap, diva, head shot, trauma, kayfabe, Mofos, house show, DQ, The Anti-Diva, spinal injuries, victim, violence, violent, wrestling, wrestlers, WWF, wifebeater, curb stomp, phrases including the word “push” and “being over,” babyface, heel, job, jobber, card, strangle, kill and murder,”
My Take:
- Some of these we have heard before. Some of these are new, like ‘Mofos’.
