Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) How Vince McMahon Views Shayna Baszler
Despite Paul Heyman being a big fan of hers, Vince McMahon has nixed the plans for Shayna Baszler to win some big matches this year. This includes the Women’s Royal Rumble match and the Money in the Bank ladder match. Both of those matches Shayna was rumored to win but WWE changed up their plans at the last moment.
WrestlingNews.co says that Shayna will be moving into the RAW Women’s’ Title picture soon but Vince is still not sold on her as a top heel. Here is an excerpt from the site:
I was told that Baszler will eventually move into the title picture this year but McMahon is still not 100 percent sold on her as a top heel.
My Take:
- I buy this because it seems like WWE has been dragging their feet with Shayna for a while now. They have had chances to give her the RAW Women’s Title and let her run with it but they haven’t pulled the trigger.
4) The Scrapped Plans For Bray Wyatt
According to Ringside News, WWE has discussed plans to bring Bray Wyatt’s puppets from the ‘Firefly Fun House’ to life (in some form) on WWE television.
Here is an excerpt from the site:
Ringside News has learned that there was an idea to bring Bray Wyatt’s Firefly Fun House characters to life in some form.
“There were discussions about the living representations of the puppets” we were explicitly told, “but it never went anywhere.”
My Take:
- Imagine a new Wyatt Family that is comprised of Bray’s puppets? That could be a fun idea.
