According to WrestlingNews.co, Daniel Bryan pitched his current storyline with Heath Slater and Drew Gulak. It is being rumored that Bryan is gaining more influence behind-the-scenes in WWE.

Here is an excerpt from the report:
I am told that this is Daniel Bryan’s idea and the reason why Gulak and Slater have been appearing on SmackDown lately is that Bryan suggested for them to be used in a storyline with him since he is friends with them and knows that they are underutilized.
“Bryan pitches a lot of his own ideas,” a WWE source said. “Sometimes Vince [McMahon] and Bruce [Prichard] will turn down an idea but a lot of the things he has pitched have been used on TV.”
My Take:
- Bryan seems to have a great mind for the wrestling business. I hope that he sticks around WWE after he retires as a creative influence in some capacity.
2) WWE Superstar Looking To Expand Their Acting Career
According to a report from Variety, Sonya Deville has signed with Imagine Artist Management for representation.
This means that Sonya is looking to expand her acting career:
With the signing, she will now look to expand into film and television roles. Several other WWE stars have found success on the big and small screen outside of the squared circle, including notable examples like Dwayne Johnson, John Cena, and Dave Bautista.
My Take:
- Good for her. I don’t blame her for branching out to new projects, outside of the WWE bubble. I wish her luck.
