Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) Some WWE Superstars Are Interested In Joining Impact Wrestling
Heath Slater was recently interviewed by TV Insider. During this, he revealed that there are some people in WWE (who he has spoken to) that are interested in coming to IMPACT Wrestling.
Here is what Slater said:
They know when they are locked down under contract, they can’t get out. That’s the bottom line. You may have well signed yourself up for the military. But guys that did get released and guys from other companies have been texting and calling and asking about Impact. The WWE crew, some of them have been like, “Man, that would be awesome to do this, But I still got a year-and-a-half or another year.” I’m like, “Remember what you’re saying because years go by pretty fast. So if you really want to, I might know a guy.” The interest is there for sure.
My Take:
- It will be interesting to see which WWE stars leave over the next year. I could see some of the guys who aren’t being used much making the jump at some point. AEW’s roster is getting full, so IMPACT seems like the next best option for some guys.
4) Possible NXT Call-Up
According to Cageside Seats, there is a rumor going around that Chelsea Green will be getting called up to the WWE main roster soon.
There’s more talk of Chelsea Green being called up to the main roster, with WWE recently filing trademarks on her name.
Green was originally rumored for RETRIBUTION but she wasn’t revealed as one of the 5 main members.
My Take:
- I have always liked Chelsea, so I would be down for this. I could see her getting selected in the upcoming WWE Draft.
