Here are some of the latest WWE rumors that are floating around.
5) WWE Makes A “Big Play” To Sign Free Agent
According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select (subscribe here), WWE is making a “big play” to sign Ben Carter. He is best known for his recent appearance on AEW programming.
No deal has been reached yet but there is a lot of interest for Carter to join the NXT UK brand.
My Take:
- This would be a solid addition to the NXT UK brand if it happens. I am excited to see what happens with him as he seems to be very talented.
4) Former WWE Star Returning
Mike Johnson of PWInsider has confirmed the rumor from Cultaholic that Eva Marie is returning to WWE. Eva reportedly has done her medical testing with the company and is expected to be back soon.

Former WWE star Natalie Eva Marie is returning to WWE.
Marie is in Orlando, Florida for this week’s WWE TV tapings and was seen yesterday undergoing medical testing needed in order to enter the Thunderdome today. PWInsider.com is told that Marie and the company came to terms for a return the week of 9/20. There is no word whether she is returning to wrestle or simply appear as a personality on TV.
My Take:
- Eva was always controversial when she was in WWE. I actually don’t hate this move and I will give her another chance. I am excited to see how she does.
